How CleanGig works
Three steps between a messy house and a clean one.
- 1
Tell us what you need
Pick the type of clean, your suburb and a date. It takes about two minutes, and posting is free.
- 2
Compare cleaners and prices
Verified cleaners near you send a price and a message. Check their rating, reviews and availability before you choose.
- 3
Pay securely when it's done
Your payment is held by CleanGig and only released to the cleaner once you're happy with the job. Before and after photos included.
Changed your plans?
Cancel more than 24 hours before the job and you get every cent back, service fee included. Inside 24 hours you're refunded 50%, because your cleaner has already turned down other work for that slot.
Cleaning for a living? Keep more of what you earn
Set your own prices, hours and service area. Your first three jobs are commission-free — after that CleanGig takes 10%, and that's it. No lead fees, no subscription, no agency taking a cut of every hour.
- You set your prices — CleanGig never sets them for you
- Work the suburbs and hours that suit you
- Paid straight to your bank account after each job
- Build reviews and rank higher in search
You'll need an ABN, a National Police Check and $5M public liability insurance. We check every one by hand.

Why people trust CleanGig
Every cleaner is checked
National Police Check, ABN and $5M public liability insurance — verified by a person before a cleaner can take work.
Your money is held safely
We hold the payment until the job is finished. If a cleaner doesn't show, you're refunded in full.
Honest reviews both ways
Clients review cleaners and cleaners review clients. Ratings come only from jobs booked through CleanGig.
Clear pricing, no surprises
You see the price before you book. A $5 service fee on your first three bookings, $7 after that, and extras can only be added through the app.
